Kristi Shade is on the harp faculty at the Manhattan School of Music Precollege Division, The Spence School, The Brearley School and is the Co-Director of the Prep Division of the Young Artist’s Harp Seminar.
Kristi also maintains a private teaching studio in the New York City area and is able to teach at either her home studio or travel to her students' homes. She is also available for virtual lessons via Zoom or FaceTime.
Kristi teaches all levels and ages and holds two studio recitals each year in which students get the opportunity to perform solo and ensemble music with fellow students for family and friends. Her private students have gone on to be accepted to prestigious institutions such as Berklee College of Music, Princeton, Carnegie Mellon, The Manhattan School of Music Precollege Division and Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts (NYC).
